Look like Bananas, not though. Leaves and flowers used medicinally. Little trivia: Each banana tree only gives 1 fruit branch per life.

Chicklet(sp?) Tree - Mexico makes Chicklets. The gum comes similar to our maple trees and is tapped. Apparently the gum we chew here is petroleum based. This Mexican gum can be purchased at health food stores.
